So, starting today with some issues this morning. A brand that I have worked with did not accept my promotional efforts, so it’s like several days of my work down the drain. Then my postings did not work for two daily posts – so I am seriously behind already, and this is not even mid day here.

The kids are playing with bubbles outside – at least I got them going on that there!

Now, today I am starting to work on Day 2 of my Pinterest strategy. I started yesterday with Day 1, setting up the rules and the master plan. I think as I read more and more about Pinterest, I will need to fix a lot more about my own plan, and about my expectations. I had 5807 followers on Pinterest yesterday, and I will log in at the end of the day how many I have today.

Yesterday I planned to add 30 new followers, I think I added about 15 only, so I will add a few more today, and I will pick some related to my field that I mostly post in, hopefully will work out to strike relationships with those new ones today – I will see how it goes!

Here are some profiles that I have found today

Pinterest profile

I think this Pinterest user has a good number of followers, so she must be doing something right! She seems to be using a lot of different descriptions of the types of recipes she is posting in her profile description. So, this is telling me that using some keywords that you want to be known for in your description is the way to go, at least it seems to be working for her. So, I have to concentrate on the specific keywords that I need, and post them in my profile.

The second user that I have found today is a little different with the profile.

Pinterest profile

This user actually has fewer followers than I do, so I see that she is not after the numbers. She seems to have a certain common theme to how she made her board images look, and this is probably what is working for her – everything seems to be well organized. Her description is somewhat vague – not a lot of keywords there. So, I will have to avoid being vague I think.

So, ultimately, I need to place some important keywords in my description, and while I already have the keywords there, I am not sure if they are the correct ones.

Conclusions of the day: work smarter, not harder, but continue with Pinterest analysis.

July 17 – Day 5 – Follow 30 new users, interact with them. Analyze my well performing pins. Repin 10 new pins.

July 18 – Day 6 – Follow 30 new users, interact with them. Re-organize my boards – clone and divide a few boards.

July 19 – Day 7 – Follow 30 new users, interact with them. Study PicMonkey and some popular pins for ideas.

July 20 – Day 8 – Follow 30 new users, interact with them. Check in the number of followers now. Re-group, what is working and what doesn’t.

July 21 – Day 9 – Follow 30 new users, interact with them. Make updates in the master plan.

July 22 – Day 10 – Follow 30 new users, interact with them. Read 5 books about Pinterest strategies.

July 23 – Day 11 – Follow 30 new users, interact with them. Study how to improve user participation on Pinterest.

July 24 – Day 12 – Follow 30 new users, interact with them. Repin 30 sources of great content.

July 25 – Day 13 – Follow 30 new users, interact with them. Repin 30 sources of great content.

July 26 – Day 14 – Follow 30 new users, interact with them. Comment on 30 new user posts.

July 27 – Day 15 -Follow 30 new users, interact with them. Check in the number of followers now.

July 28 – Day 16 – Follow 30 new users, interact with them. Read 5 more books on Pinterest strategies. Make changes in the master plan.

July 29 – Day 17 – Follow 30 new users, interact with them. Repin 30 sources of great content.

July 30 – Day 18 – Follow 30 new users, interact with them. Repin 30 sources of great content.

July 31 – Day 19 – Follow 30 new users, interact with them. Repin 30 sources of great content.

August 1 – Day 20 – Follow 30 new users, interact with them. Checkin the number of followers now. Repin 30 sources of great content.

August 2 – Day 21 – Follow 30 new users, interact with them. Repin 30 sources of great content.

August 3 – Day 22 – Follow 30 new users, interact with them. Repin 30 sources of great content.

August 4 – Day 23 – Follow 30 new users, interact with them. Repin 30 sources of great content.

August 5 – Day 24 – Follow 30 new users, interact with them. Repin 30 sources of great content.

August 6 – Day 25 – Follow 30 new users, interact with them. Checkin the number of followers now. Repin 30 sources of great content.

August 7 – Day 26 – Follow 30 new users, interact with them. Repin 30 sources of great content.

August 8 – Day 27 – Follow 30 new users, interact with them. Repin 30 sources of great content.

August 9 – Day 28 – Follow 30 new users, interact with them. Repin 30 sources of great content.

August 10 – Day 29 – Follow 30 new users, interact with them. Repin 30 sources of great content.

August 11 – Day 30 – Follow 30 new users, interact with them. Last day – checkin how many new users have been acquired, analyze the results, prepare a final post about the results.
